Watching the newer episodes of the Pokémon anime when I was able, let me inspired to try drawing again. I was really passionate about this comic idea, and tried my best. Let me know if you like how this looks! I really wanted to communicate my idea for a “hopeful scene” that I really would love to see happen, in a new episode of the show. Ash getting a Lucario this season has been so amazing in and of itself, and every small moment the show gives us of their bond, is incredible. I thought I’d try my hand at writing a scene like this myself.
Depending on how you all like this, maybe I could even potentially commission an artist to draw their own version of this? (Maybe I could commission MrFuwa to redraw it when he finishes the rest of my comic commission)
For any of you that understand the movie that Ash’s PTSD flashback is referencing here, I’m extremely sorry for making you sad haha

Ash always has the cutest relationship with many of ace pokemon, and lucario is no different! My favorite moment in all of Journeys was when Lucario was growling at some poachers and Ash was able to snap him out of his feral state with a single gesture! I think that's when I started shipping them haha
