| It depends what you defy degrading to be imo. I don't watch a lot of porn overall so I don't really know the boundaries that people go to. That said, I'm assuming hentai would be more degrading because there are no limits to what can be "made" so anything could be presented. We are only human so in the aspect of regular porn we would have our own limit set to we can do. It's kinda hard talking about it specifically since it depends between each person what their definition of degradation would be/portray to. |

| Disgusting and degrading are two different terms, so the question you're asking in the title and the question you're asking in your post are two different things. Hentai can go far beyond anything porn can do, so it can easily go past porn's level of "disgusting" but only with certain fetishes. Hentai doesn't need to obey the laws of physics and clearly doesn't even try to, but you cannot change the fact that it is just a animation, a cartoon. Seeing something shocking in a animation will have less of an impact than seeing a live version of it. For example, gore in a cartoon versus live action gore. Seeing guts and body entrails is often more disgusting in real life than seeing some cartoon animation of it. So if the hentai is doing things that cannot happen in real life and has no comparison when it comes to porn, hentai can easily disgust you more as it has no comparisons and becomes your base line standard for disgusting but in comparison to activities than can be done in both that you consider disgusting, then porn will most likely have hentai beat. Degrading is a different matter. If we're talking live action porn adaptions of something hentai, which yes there are, then that's obviously a degrade. You can't get a old lady to play a high school school girl. Now if you're talking degrading women, then rape hentai probably has porn beat. This is because most hentai characters have personality and a mental state. Porn doesn't touch on that, they're usually just a fuck show. This is important because hentai loves to break the will of female characters to show how easy it is to convert them into nymphos. You don't see that kind of stuff in regular porn. Though this is only if you're comparing rape hentai, while it is a common theme in hentai, it isn't the only theme. |

| As a vivid watcher of both Hentai Anime and 'real' Porn, as well as a vivid reader of Hentai Manga (also know as 'Doujinshi') there are a few things I'd like to say about this topic. First of all, almost all Hentai are fucking disgusting and not really worth the watch (at least for me that is). Real Porn on the other hand is usually not that better, Especially the one coming from Japanese sex-actresses. It can however be better than Hentai, though as for everything here, it all depends what exactly you are comparing. There should be some rather good Hentai out there, as well as good Porn. Even Doujinshi (and especially most of those which are on MyAnimeList) are usually fucking disgusting. There are different ways how to look at it though. For once, it is actually better to watch Hentai instead of porn, as that way less women will have to get forced to do those sex scenes, also the number of prostitutes of under-aged women could decline (at least that is what I think about that matter, though as I'm gonna say it in the next paragraph, it all depends on what you are talking about). In the end it all depends on ones preferences and what they prefer. If one likes to fap to 2d, let him fap to 2d, if one however prefers to fap to 3d, fine! |
