It's hard not to point out that if they showed up in Chihuahua of all places 100 years ago, then they were taking advantage of the fact that the revolution operated like a civil war in that state. They got land for cheap during a rebuilding process. Historical context is always more helpful than how it was introduced in this video.
They are definitely not pioneers, just a religious group dedicated to farming.. just like the Amish in Ohio!.
They have never payed for land, they get all the water and money

I loaded e semi truck with old combines and baler here in canada he was from mexico hauling it down there he said that equipment is like gold down there
