Hey guys! So this morning I was amazed at the story of Hannah. Her story is that even though she had an amazing husband who loved her (read good life) she was terribly broken and unhappy. Why? Because she was barren and couldn't have the thing she longed for most a child. (insert your dream here...) Her Co-Wife kept on provoking her by reminding her of this dream that hadn't been realized. Hannah had it! and breaks down at the temple before God pouring her heart out in deep anguish!
1 Samuel 1: 10. In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD.
After she Prayed an amazing thing happened
1 Samuel 1: 18 says " Hannah said, "May your servant find favor in your eyes." Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast."
What is your Hannah situation? That dream that you have had for so long that you can relate to the anguish that Hannah felt. The writing is on the wall folks!
Time with God is the ultimate booster and encouragement!
Hannah had deep pain, insecurity and hopelesness about her situation. But when she prayed earnestly and brought everything to the Lord she was able to find peace and hope! Way before her situation changed.
God is way more interested in us being changed than in our situation changing. As the old hymn says "Take it to the Lord in prayer" and be ready for God to 1st change you before your situation!

2025 bado anabaki kua Mfalme Mkuu

I went through a season of deep,deep,deep brokeness . All sorts of pain and hurt. Then GOD took me through a season of purging,cleansing,breaking and then healing. The process happened in stages. I remember being in Church for an overnight (CITAM Valley Road) and this Song played at the End. It sunk into my Spirit so deeply even though I did not understand. I have looked for it for two years and today have finally,finally found it. Seeing the testimony of Hannah behind it, it all makes sense. It makes sense. I was broken...But like Hannah,the LORD did not give me a son to bring me Joy. The LORD Himself became My JOY. GLORY GLORY TO GOD.

This song encouraged me so much when I was going through tribulations, my husband had lost his job,I was in nursing school,I had 2 small children and no income,I almost gave up,but God so me through,I finished nursing school,then God surprised me in a way I could never have imagined,I won the green card lottery, I moved to the USA with my family, indeed God great,bado nimepigwa na butwaa,nimezubaa kwa ajili ya upendo wa Mungu.

Who believes this song still speaks to us even today.
