| I haven't read the manga.. but seeing it 20 eps count.. i'm just worried about pacing or whether they might cut some material.. Even though anime make things better, i will read manga side by side so that i don't miss. Best first episode in a long time. cried so hard. |
| I'm waiting to see how the responses will be later when more episodes are released. Mainly interested in the reviews regearding the main background plot. Cause the description seemde a bit like it could get episodic. (Which could make it get boring if it runs too long an doesn't fully adapt in 1 cour.) |

| I won't be watching this anime, but having read the manga, this anime definitely has the potential to be the anime of the season, or even the anime of the year with how good the source material is. But whether or not it does end up reaching the level of quality of the original manga is a different topic. Nonetheless, I'm still highly optimistic regarding this adaptation. |

| In terms of entertainment value I would prefer Tokyo revengers or Vivy but the story this would be the best. | Lol. This turned into a "Was Horimiya a good adaptation?" thread. Back on topic though. Here would be my order(so far) for each anime.(not including sequels) 1. 86. I feel as if the start for this really set a certain tone, and the tone was interesting and done really well. Its confusing if you haven't read the synopsis before watching the anime(Which I have) 2. Vivy. Not much to say about this except it kinda has an advantage with 3 episodes out already. The plot is interesting, caught my attention pretty quickly. 3. Tokyo Revengers. This is gonna be a hot take, but I feel like until the last few minutes of the episode, it had potential to be better than Erased. I was a bit disappointed when the ending of the episode happened though(If you know, you know.) 4. To Your Eternity. Not as sad as I thought the first episode would be based on what people were saying. Kinda felt like it was obvious the boy was gonna die. Was essentially the bait MC death but more heartbreaking? Plot wasn't that interesting for me, but it was enjoyable. I'll probably keep watching and see if it gets really great. 5. Shadows House. Felt like a drug, strangely addicting/enjoyable but literally no reason why it should be. I have nothing else to say. 6. Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshikousei wo Hirou. The MC has great morales, im used to Mushoku Tensei where he looks at females sexual parts any chance he gets lmao. I expect this to be great. 7. Don't toy with me miss Nagatoro. Was enjoyable. MC is a pussy though. My guy is really scared of females younger than him? Unless he has some mental issues no excuses for this. 8. Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui. Main guy is creepy as fuck. No other comments. 9. Combatants Will Be Dispatched! Not nearly as funny or quirky as Konosuba and its characters, but its somewhat entertaining I guess... 10. SSSS.Dynazenon. Characters are interesting and keep me entertained. Im not really into mecha being the main plot so thats why its ranked so low. 11. Odd Taxi. Ranked here simply because there is only 1 episode. 12. Full Dive: The Ultimate Next-Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Shittier than Real Life! Same as the other one. Although it should be ranked higher for me later on because its isekai trash. And I love isekai trash. TLDR: I wouldn't consider To Your Eternity AOTS because can't really make a good prediction or case for any anime with only 1 fucking episode, but according to my list and so far it has a chance to be 3rd and a small chance to be 2nd if Vivy flops somehow. |
