Wade acts all bigot when Perry starts talking about trans porn, Allison goes "eww porn" (like she is a prude in bed with Ian right? - Good thing Emma calls her out) while Emma is quite open minded about. Ian can agree with Emma, act like a bigot too or be more or less neutral.

I'd also point out that the extent to which Ian can be nice about it is him saying "Everyone has their fetishes.", hardly a glowing defense of trans women.

According to the walkthrough.
If [lena_robert_sex= True]or [lena_mike_sex= True], then [jess_bad= True]
Would have preferred to not have the destiny of one of the main cast from the previous game influenced by such a random choice. Specially one that pretty much locks Lena out of 2 of the only 3 possible sexual relationships she can have so far in the game (without counting the protagonists fucking each other).

I thought that was quite out of the left field as well, until I stopped and looked who reacted how. Eva is clearly telling us subconsciously to side with certain characters and antagonize others. The blatant bigotry of Wade in a chapter where he can be cuckolded is a little... well, on the nose.
As player, you are given a choice to shape your Ian in a route you desire. You can either make him go all JK Rowling, or keep him in nice guy territory.
More I think about that scene, the more I like the structure. That convo tells you about the characters. Alison's reaction in particular is extremely telling.
And hence why I am starting to get real bad vibes from her, as I mentioned before, Leah from Acting Lessons vibes.

I took it as he agreeing with Perry while trying not to start a fight with Wade.

Hope Ian can at least fix Alisson strange disgust over watching porn.
Within the context of that convo, Ian launching into a pro-trans diatribe would be very inorganic. I think saying "everyone has their fetishes" is about as anyone can say in a situation with someone's long time friends.
Which, characterizing being a trans person as a fetishistic action presents its own problems, but considering the conversation is STRICTLY about the porn aspect of it, I do not detect any malicious intent, rather, good organic dialogue writing. (Full disclosure: I am a straight male, albeit %5 woke, however, can't claim too much agency on this issue)
I like how that scene is constructed. Considering Eva already did an okay-to-excellent portrayal of a trans person in the previous game, I think we should accept it as such, a storytelling moment.
1st) High lust with Ian and treating well and being respectful to Cindy.
6th) Play as if you want to destroy Ian's work life, in the end it has its reward

So saying a neutral thing to avoid being sucked into the argument with your friends is now bad? Real-life is not Twitter where you have to attack everyone with a different opinion and educate them immediately. If you do that to your friends, you won't have any friends. And as someone already said, the subject was porn, not trans-issues. I understand the criticism towards Wade, since he's uncultured in that department. But come on, it's obvious that everyone present in the scene has different opinions. Perry likes trans porn, Wade is close-minded about it, Emma is very open-minded about everything, Alison and Cindy don't like porn in general. Cindy is actually the most trans-friendly of the bunch, saying to Perry that watching trans-porn doesn't make you pro-trans, since you're making a fetish out of trans women. Do you absolutely need Ian to go all political in that scene and start a heated argument to ruin the mood for everyone? It's not in his character, he just came to have fun with his friends, he's got a lot of bullshit to deal with as it is.
